Arminna West was an archaeological site in Egyptian Lower Nubia which was occupied from the Late Meroitic Period (circa 150 - 200 AD) to the Classic Christian Period (circa 1100 AD). Arminna West is a short distance north of the famous site of Abu Simbel. At Arminna West the largest excavation areas in the townsite date to the Meroitic to Post-Meroitic and Christian Periods .....
